  I have eaten breakfast here twice. The service was good and the food came out quick. I ordered the pancakes and egg whites on my first visit. The pancakes were above average and the eggs tasted fresh. I had a good experience on my first visit.
  
  On my second visit I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was okay, the steak tasted too peppery, it overwhelmed the rest of the meal. I really enjoyed the fresh biscuit. Overall I would come back, but I would continue to try other dishes on the menu in order to find my go to dish.

  Four stars for food. Two stars for service. Have been going to this cafe regularly for about three years now and have really appreciated the decent quality of food and the overall vibe of the place, but the service has gotten really bad.
  
  There is typically a wait when you arrive, which is expected for any LA brunch spot, but the man running the line is really rude. He basically barks at you when a table is ready and then just points in the general direction of the table that has opened up. Easy to get over if it just one simple interaction, but the line runs along the extent of the patio tables, so as a restaurant guest you get to watch him bark at other guests awaiting tables and yell at the wait staff over top of you for the duration of the meal.
  
  Additionally, once you are seated there does not seem to be a traditional serving section style where one server waits on you-which leads to either you having five different servers asking you the same question within seconds of each other or not having anyone waiting on you at all because they thought someone else had taken care of you. Really disorganized. After being seated and ordering coffee immediately we spent about thirty minutes waiting on drinks and had to flag down about three different servers to actually get coffee on the table. This phenomenon happened about three different times throughout the meal (with coffee, with extra utensils, and with the check).
  
  In summary the food was great, but the stress of the bad service made it a really unpleasant experience.

  Amazing.  Simply amazing food, service is fast, couldn't ask for much more.

  I waited for a half hour and then got a seat extremely close to the bathroom. It was in the hall of the bathroom. I mean I could smell it.
  
  Lucky for me - I love that kind of stuff.

  I could see everyone's face as they walked out and could catch a whiff of the damage done - and by damage I mean delightful destruction.
  
  It's extremely hard to request a seat based on these parameters. People think you are weird. Well, isn't everyone weird? You look me in the eyes when you walk out because you project that I like it too... and you are right. We are all the same.
  
  I also enjoyed my pancakes and eggs, but that's expected, right? If you mess up eggs - you must not be paying attention. Maybe in those situations the bathroom is right next to the kitchen.

  What a great find. We definitely will be regulars here. Love the food and the vibe. Definitely an old diner. Ordered the devils and sweet potato pancake and honey ordered the French toast, ham and salad. Everything was delish! Fast service. I even saw their salads and they look tasty. Parking could be tricky but we came around 2:30 pm after the crowd has died down which is perfect because they still served breakfast. Beat the crowd, come later. Will be back for more!!Trust!
